About Kimberly Smith-Pierre
Kimberly Smith-Pierre is a Psychologist and Certified Matchmaker who introduces and match individuals who may otherwise never meet. She uses a unique combination of psychological testing and Life Coaching strategies to ensure her clients are their best selves in knowing who they are and what they’d desire in a mate.
GLR: Hi Kimberly! Please tell us the name of your company
KS: The name of my company is “One Step at a Time Matchmaking and Life Coaching Services LLC, where gradual growth is still measured as growth.”
GLR: What is your niche market?
KS: My niche market includes both Men and Women who are striving to become their better selves. Open to all Nationalities and Relation types i.e. LBGTQ etc. between the ages of 27-60 years young.
GLR: What was your career before and why did you choose to change the industry?
KS: My career before was as an Adoptions Case manager, and I’ve always had MMI in mind even prior to that. If MMI ever checked the call logs you’ll see I’ve been calling for about 8 years now with questions and a burning urge to come aboard the team of Matchmakers. However, the job I worked was more so on the social-work side of things and I’ve always been a Psych major. So one day I got fed up and said I’m quitting my government job and I’m going to shoot for my dreams of becoming a Matchmaker, and I did just that. Leaped out on faith and hope and here I am today, a Certified Matchmaker!!
GLR: Thanks, Kimberly! The last question – you just graduate as a certified Matchmaker from the Global Love Institute. What was your favorite part of the online Matchmaker Certification course?
KS: My absolute favorite part of the Matchmaking Certification course has to be the weekly Q&A calls. On these weekly calls were amazing people from all over the world gathering together as we all shared a common passion for Matchmaking. The Instructor Rachel Russo was so supportive and a pleasure to work with!
