GLR: Hi, Caryn! Thanks for doing this interview with us! We know your company is called Exquisite Elite Matchmaking, do you have a niche market?
Caryn Davis (CD): My niche market is Black men and women who are busy professionals between the ages of 30 to 60.
GLR: Tell us more about your background! What was your career before this, and why did you choose to work in the dating industry?
CD: I was a Chemical Engineer working in Engineering Management prior to becoming a Certified Dating Coach and Matchmaker. Therefore, since I am a romantic at heart and a problem solver, I wanted to increase the marriage rate in my community. My parents were married for 50 years, and there are many singles wanting to have a solid long-lasting marriage like my parents or like President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama. I want to be that person to help them see their dreams come true.
GLR: That’s awesome! Congratulations on recently graduating from the Science-Based Coaching course! What was your favorite part of the online Dating Coach Certification course?
CD: My favorite part of the dating course was that I learned not only a lot of information for my future clients but also for myself as a single person about key dating/relationship tips. Therefore, after taking the Date Coaching course, I decided I am going to equip my clients with the key takeaways that I learned in this course prior to them going on their first date. I feel this will allow my clients to have a better chance of a long-lasting relationship.
GLR: What’s the one thing you look forward to as a newly certified Dating Coach?
CD: The one thing I am looking forward to as a Dating Coach is hearing my first client saying they had a great date and that the dating tips helped – those words alone would be priceless!
